Head for the Hills brings a quality, eclectic mix of established international musicians, emerging artists, DJs and family arts to Ramsbottom, a beautiful town on the outskirts of Greater Manchester. Enjoy great music, scrumptious local food and beer in the Lancashire hills. We're heading online with United We Stream for a special free winter broadcast on 5 December 2020. This spectacular event will feature songs from movies and musicals including Hairspray, Dreamgirls, Les Miserables and The Sound of Music as well as orchestral renditions of classics from David Bowie, The Verve, Stevie Wonder and Elton John π
This special event is being arranged by Bury Hospice with all proceeds going to them directly

The Selecter is led by Pauline Black (the 'Queen of Ska') and co-fronted by original member Arthur βGapsβ Hendrickson

Head For The Hills brings a quality, eclectic mix of established international musicians, emerging artists, DJs and family arts programme to Ramsbottom, a beautiful town in Greater Manchester.
Head For The Hills is curated with care by The Met, Buryβs independent music and arts venue, and delivered with a passionate team of volunteers and partners.
Since 2011 (when we started as Ramsbottom Festival) the team has been showcasing new talent and bringing big names to our stages at the end of each summer. Itβs been a chance to enjoy great music, family activities for all ages and scrumptious local food and beer in the Lancashire hills.
Weβre taking a year off in 2019, but will be back with news of our plans for 2020 soon.
