🎄Give a gift this Christmas 🎄🎁
We are very proud to be partnering with the local Abington Parishes and Cambridgeshire Social Services to support children and young adults this Christmas.
Running from 1st November - 18th December, we invite all our tenants to donate a brand new, unwrapped gift to a child or young adult this year to ensure as many as possible have something to open on Christmas morning.
Not sure what type of gift to buy? All gifts are very gratefully received, but some ideas include toys, books, toiletry sets for older children and young adults, clothing such as warm jumpers, coats, hats, scarves and socks, board games and sports equipment. Variety is key and we hope to be able to support ages 0-24 with this campaign.
Once you have your gift, you can place it unwrapped within a gift bag or drop it off as it is to one of the below drop off stations situated on the Park:
Nuffield Health Granta Park Reception
McClintock Building, The Estate Office
Your own building reception area
We will collect all gifts and work with our contractors to get them to a central hub, ready for distribution to local families and households ahead of Christmas Day.
Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Three strategies to improve men's health help-seeking. Read on:
1. Be Men-Kind: Encourage self-kindness and self-compassion. Embracing a positive and adaptive view of health help-seeking involves treating oneself with understanding, fostering motivation, creativity, confidence, and resilience. Cultivating self-kindness and self-compassion can reduce reluctance to seek help for health issues.
2. Support Other Men: Challenge traditional gender roles by promoting dialogue and understanding common male feelings of fear, embarrassment, and invincibility. Encourage open conversations about health, assist in preparing questions for medical appointments, and emphasize the importance of emotional expression and seeking support.
3. Read Our Man-ual: Promote awareness and understanding of men's well-being through educational resources like the "Menkind: How to be your own best mate" guide. This manual provides insights into adjustments that can contribute to a happier, healthier, and longer life.
If you need help with a specific health concern, book a GP appointment with us, or if you haven't seen a doctor in a while and would like an in-depth check-up, choose from one of our health assessments. Additionally if you need help with your emotional well-being, you can talk to one of our therapists within 24hrs.
Remember, don't just repair your health, maintain it! Get in touch.
