๐๐ฌ Earlier this week, BBC Radio Kent visited our Ashford Make Ready Centre to chat with paramedic, Jessica Conroy about the chain of survival and why starting CPR immediately can be life-saving for someone in cardiac arrest. ๐
Jess recently visited Romney Sands Holiday Park near Ashford, where their amazing team successfully resuscitated a patient before crews arrived - all thanks to quick CPR and early defibrillation. โก Jess was eager to share this uplifting story! ๐

AED scheme update:
As you may or may not know - the Aylesham AED scheme was initially set up by Aylesham4Aylesham in 2019.
For the past 5 years members of the ARCH team have personally maintained the scheme on behalf of A4A.
On the 31st August 2024- all funds relating to the AED scheme held by A4A were used to purchase equipment. Then the AED scheme was officially signed over to Aylesham & Rural Community Heart, ceasing any involvement from A4A relating to the scheme.
Therefore, we kindly ask that any donations made to the AED scheme are made to ARCHs go fund me page and no longer the A4A go fund me โค๏ธ
KCC have granted ARCH ยฃ500 towards an AED cabinet in the new build area of Aylesham - we are now aiming to raise ยฃ1000 to purchase the AED!
Don't forget you can learn how to use an AED & perform CPR at our FREE Save a life workshops.
