We are entirely committed to nurturing creativity in our young at our Junior Fashion School.

Our online Sewing Juniors and Arts Award begins this August for young people across the world, not only in the UK.

If you have a young person 7-16 that you would like to enroll in, write "creative" in the comment section, and we will dm you with details.

It was an absolutely beautiful day (and emotional, too!) as we rounded up the year at the summer showcase for our young designers on Saturday.

Our young designers did shine bright like the stars they are, absolutely talented superstars!
We could not have been prouder..

It's been a whole year of creativity.. and we look forward to coming back to the young talents in September..

We have had a number of enquiries for those summer... we have only 2 Summer programmes,

1. Arts Awards created Summer for ages 6-12 at our school location in Aylesham, Canterbury. Running from 29th July- 2nd August

2. Online Sewing Juniors from 5th August Ages 7-16more details to follow .

We are happy to let you know that we are a registered Arts Awards Center!

Our Junior Fashion School for young people (7-16) is now a not-for-profit and we are excited about the opportunities we are now able to explore for our young creatives.

Arts Award is a unique set of qualifications designed to engage children and young people
in the arts, nurturing their artistic skills and leadership potential. Through five levels
(Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver, and Gold), young people can explore the arts world,
develop their creativity, and earn a recognized qualification. With the Gold Arts
Award, young people will have a Level 3 qualification worth 16 UCAS points!

This summer we will be running 2 Arts Awards creative programme for 7-12 (physical), and 12-16 yr old (online).

Our young designers at our Junior Fashion School have been working so hard this year, when they started in September 2023. As we round up a year of amazing creativity, hard work, fun and more, we present our Summer Showcase!
This is a fashion event and features collections of garments designed , and made by our young designers. We are excited to invite you to this event, which will hold on Saturday, 20th of July, 2024 at St Peters Anglican Church, Aylesham.

In preparation for our Summer fashion showcase which we have been working towards, our young designers are working on hand painted denim for the Upcyled design in their fashion collection.

We are now asking for denim clothing, that are still in good condition, that we can upcyle and paint. We are particularly interested in denim jackets for all sizes, denim trousers, hats, shorts, denim dresses and more!

We will love if you could bring in to us, or we can arrange to come collect from you..

We have started a fashion design/Creative sewing class for 16-18 Yr olds at the school.. classes on Mondays and Thursdays. This is an opportunity premium technical/hands on knowledge.

With a passion for sustainability, we have a very active focus on Creating , Caring and Repair our clothes.
This focus has been a significant driving force in everything we do at the school and at Tolumi TFP .
To further get our message across to more, we have now launched our Repair Clinic on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
We ask that before you decide on that garment, bring it to us and we may just be able to Repair it for you!

On Tuesdays, you can come in with your items and have a cuppa in our lounge while we get your clothes repaired, or you drop-off on Saturdays with us, to come back for them later on!

This service is from only £15 per item and 10% of all proceeds will be going to help and support creative communities in Africa .

Saturdays are always lovely for us with our Junior designers, and they have been really busy this Term preparing and working on their individual collections for their Fashion show in the Summer 🤩

One of the most common challenges creative people have is that of space, to be able to set up equipments, tools and everything they need to work.. We know this can be quite discouraging!

This is the reason why from February 2024, we will now offer our Creative Membership that allows you access to all equipments and tools at the school on all our open days including Saturdays!

From sewing machines, overlock machines, Cricut machine and tools, body forms in different sizes, adjustable mannequins, and you could even get support!
We have a lovely comfortable lounge for when you want to take a break, WiFi and above all a creative space that you just need!

There is no limit to the amount of times you can come in, and how long you can stay!
Our space will become your space, and your creative home.

Pls pm for questions you may have, and membership is monthly, for only £69.99.
We have put a cap on the number of active members monthly to ensure there is room for every of our Creative members to work.
