Mimikyu! My favourite spooky Pokemon.
I planned on posting this on Halloween but the past couple of weeks have been a blur and I totally forgot.
I’m a little in love with Pokemon go. Downloaded on a whim for my kids and now I play it and Pokemon sleep daily (much to my OHs annoyance) mimikyu turned up in my Pokemon sleep research this morning and it reminded me to upload this 😅

I don’t really know the days or time at the moment. It’s all been a bit of a blur this past week. I realised with everything going on I haven’t posted any of the flash I’d hoped to do for spooky month and Halloween. So here is a couple of eyeball pieces I’d love to tattoo - any time of year. 👁️🍬🍭👁️

I went up to Newcastle to the first in person event last weekend. It was really good and had great informative seminars on throughout the afternoon. We got a fab selection of bits in our gift bags from .store_uk .tattoo

The food was amazing! Vegan sushi, pizza and doughnuts which made my little dairy free heart very happy.



I also was the lucky winner of the raffle!

This past week has been a LOT. My dad had surgery last week and what should have been an overnight stay in hospital after surgery has turned into a long term hospital stay with currently no end in sight - the drs keep saying 10days. BUT we’re on day 5 of them saying another 10days at least. While waiting for what’s happening/ how he is Ive been sketching a lot more.
This one started out with a plan to turn into an art nouveau piece but it moved into its own thing.

We’ve had a bit of a move around in the studio.
A little more spacious and more natural light coming in.

I’ve been wanting to move everything around for a while to eventually offer space to guest artists, this has helped to see how everything fits with two artist stations in the space. 💚

Galarian Moltres Pokemon tattoo.
At the Cornwall tattoo convention I was asked if I could draw up a Galarian Moltres in the style of the Pokemon card (second pic) this was a fun tattoo. My client smashed getting his first tattoo, sat like a rock!

💀 Skull hand tattoo💀 The skull was placed around an existing tattoo (the crab constellation - not by me) creating the illusion that the crab was above laying on top of the skull.

Something you may or may not know about me is I LUUURRRVE eyeball flowers. I have some of my own on my shoulders from 15years ago! I adore tattooing eyes. And I love realism flowers too. So I’ve joined them together here. These would usually be £320 to get tattooed but as I’d really like to do these. I will be offering them for £180. Please get in touch via my booking form if you’d like one.
If you’d like something similar let me know and we can sort something out within this deal too if it’s an eyeball and flower piece.

This one was fun to design! I started playing with 3D limbs on procreate too so I could get the right look at the front as well as the back.
I’d love to do some more leg or arm hugging animals!

🌿STUDIO UPDATE🌿

I apologise for the delays in responding during the last few months.

I unfortunately had some medical issues come to light back in May and this has been a strain on myself both mentally and physically. I had to reduce my hours in the studio and go to many drs appointments at short notice. It’s looking up however and I will hopefully have a surgery date soon. This does however mean I will end up with more time off in the new year during recovery.

Due to this I am changing the opening hours of the studio.

FROM NEXT WEEK - I will be available in the studio:

Monday - 10am-5pm
Tuesday. - 10am-5pm
Wednesday - CLOSED
Thursday. - 10am-5pm
Friday - 10am-5pm
Saturday - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Sunday - CLOSED

I will be in the studio today from 12 to complete all admin and get back to everyone!

We have some exciting updates coming to the studio in the next month but first I wanted to let you know why I’ve been quiet recently and not at the studio regularly.

Tattoo glow up for the quill. This was a faded 10+ year old piece which had also healed badly over the colour jewels causing scarring - client wasn’t sure if the original reaction was to the ink or what happened. She just remembers if he king painful and very itchy - more than can’t if get other tattoos. So we took it very carefully and gently keeping an eye on how her skin reacted.

We turned this piece that my client disliked because it didn’t look enough like a quill and just like a faded feather blob. Into a styalised more realistic looking quill representing her love of writing.
