“We had a great experience from start to finish. David gave us plenty of time during the first meeting and really seemed to understand our needs. His first designs were almost spot on which was very impressive, only a few very minor tweaks were made. Communication was good throughout and Tom the fitter was great, very skilled with really strong attention to detail. We wanted a bespoke kitchen as we had a pretty clear idea about what we wanted and knew we were not going to get it off-the-shelf. We wanted to ensure that it was a calm, beautiful and practical space with a timeless design and lots of natural materials. We were very pleased to take some guidance from David as well, but he did a great job of incorporating our design ambitions with overall usability of the space. We were confident that Herringbone would deliver a high-quality kitchen and the level of craftmanship and attention to detail really shows.”

The wonderful Waltham Forest project is now on our website. We love how special this project is from start to finish, and wish the family a lifetime of happiness in their new kitchen 🫶

“Having been a fan of Herringbone’s work well before considering a renovation - it felt special having them be such a large part of our journey. As well as the stunning designs, we liked and appreciated their ethos and values and this is something which shone through from start to finish in all dealings with the company. We had an initial design meeting with our architect plans and from there came out with ideas for not just the kitchen as initially planned; but a bar, a media unit, shutters, a pantry and a utility room!”

We loved working with this family on the very special details in their project. The Surrey home project is now live on our website with all the details! .a.pickering 💗

“Our journey with Herringbone was a lot of fun - it was so exciting to go through various designs and ideas, and then refine them together with our designer Rob. We knew we wanted a bespoke kitchen as we spend most of our time there, both being enthusiastic cooks.“It’s such a great space - we have an open plan room with the kitchen, dining room and family room. It’s ideal with our young children as we can be in the kitchen, and keeping an eye on them at the same time.”

The beautiful Stevenage project is now live on our website with all the details 💗 we wish this young family a lifetime of happiness in their new home 🏠

Earth day is a special time to reflect on how your choices impact the earth and next generation. Sustainability has always been a core part of our ethos since we began 10 years ago and something we consider with every supplier.

We made a conscious decision to only use water-based low VOC paint, which is very rare in this industry. While it was not the easy option, we felt true to our ethos. We have worked tirelessly to come up with a method that makes using water-based paint both practical for the kitchen and eco-friendly.

For each bespoke kitchen we make we dedicate a tree to the National Forest, a regeneration project across 200 square miles in the Midlands. Our timbers are sourced from well managed, responsible forests where the cycle of clearing and replanting has been continuous for many generations. We only use temperate hard and soft woods and avoid endangered tropical timbers where logging practices are generally less well controlled and regulated.
We use indigenous British species wherever possible and we plant a tree for every kitchen made.

We use reusable blankets in our delivery, a wood burner to keep our workshop warm in the winter with off cuts and we have decided to use low silica quartz, often this is also the most eco friendly option as well.

We continue to push ourselves and our company on the products we use.
