We are recruiting several roles for the Canterbury Community Shelter.

Evening Project Workers (fixed term)
Waking Night Shelter Workers (fixed term)
Locum Project Workers (daytime, zero hours)

These roles offer an excellent opportunity to gain some initial experience working for a charity, as well as making an immediate difference to the lives of people who are homeless.

Junior Church has just completed its look at the Psalms.

Today is our harvest festival. Please give generously to support Catching Lives and the women’s refuge.

Good morning Junior Church from Tallinn in Estonia. Yesterday we visited the Orthodox cathedral and then went to hear organ music in the Lutheran cathedral.

Sunday 22nd September is our Harvest Festival and we will be receiving gifts for Catching Lives and the women’s refuge. Information from Catching Lives is attached. Please also consider baby food and small items that can be given as gifts for the Women’s Refuge.

Thank you to everyone who helped today- moving chairs, setting up displays, welcoming people, selling jam, helping children with their trail and chatting to visitors. A huge special thank you to the Canterbury 4 Ukraine ladies choir who were wonderful!

Junior Church have been finishing off their display for our church open day on 14th September. Next Saturday - please come and see their hard work along with displays by other church groups.

Looking forward to opening the church to visitors on 14th September. The Canterbury for Ukraine Ladies Choir will be singing at 3.30pm and Val will be selling jams and marmalade for All We Can.

Hello Junior Church, this is the church on the Island of Isabela in the Galápagos. If you look carefully at the mural you will see the birds and animals of the island all there.

Hello Junior Church, Although it is now just after midnight in Canterbury so already Monday here in Popayan in Colombia it is just after 6pm on Sunday and the evening services are just starting. There are 44 churches in the city and these pictures are of the church of the ascension of Mary.
