This Saturday our Senior Choir, Chamber Choir and Full Orchestra will be joining with Canterbury Ladies Choir, The Canterbury Voices and more for an evening of uplifting music in aid of the Canterbury Vocals Scholarship Fund.

Amazing afternoon of piano playing with the regional final of the Grammar school’s piano competition taking place here in the department today. With representation from Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School, Simon Langton Boys’ Grammar School, Barton Court Grammar School and Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School it was very close with the standard very high indeed!
Congratulations to Langton Year 12 student - Ava for winning the Grade 6/7 category along with the runners up of the Duet category: Charlotte and India. They will go on to compete in the County final on 22nd June!

Introducing our brand-new Yamaha baby grand piano – delivered today! With huge thanks to the Cook family for their very generous donation to make it possible. It will be well used in Music room 1 for performances and rehearsals and compliments the Steinway Model C grand in Music room 2 and Yamaha C3 grand piano in the hall very nicely! Along with the other seven uprights in the department the piano fleet is looking very healthy indeed!
