Another incredible last-minute winner to celebrate, but as emotions rise, incidents of domestic abuse rise too by up to 38%.
Whether we win or lose on Sunday, let's all commit to joining the team to .

"Our aim is to get as many local girls playing football as possible, as we know how transformative it can be for both physical and mental health, but we are turning people away...."
How the meteroric rise of female football in Canterbury has out-paced local facilities.

Women and girls celebrate spectacular 3-year rise — Canterbury Eagles FC Our women and girls' football celebration event attracted more than 120 players on Saturday. Eagles have built one of the largest female sections in the county in just 3 years, but further growth is impossible without new facilities.
We've had a fab time in the sun and rain at our women and girls' celebration day today! ♀️♀️♀️
Well done to our women's 40+ walking football team who beat Margate 8-0 and to our u13s who were beaten 5-0 by an exceptional East Kent Roses team.
Our u9s, u10s, u12s, u15s, u16s and women's rec team also played friendlies and had fun together, and along with our littlest wildcats having their usual fun session, there were more than 120 female players on the pitch today.
Our female section is growing and providing footballing opportunities for players aged from 5 to 63!
More pics and vids to follow. ⚽️🦅💚💜
So this happened... on Saturday our little Wildcats were visited by the Women's Super League Trophy! 🏆🏆🏆
They were also joined by just some of our older squad girls from the u11s, u12s and u13s.
Great inspiration for everyone. 🤩🤩🤩🤩
We've now got the largest female contingent of any club in Canterbury and will be offering a full female pathway next season from u9s to senior women. Several of our squads have waiting lists too!
We're so proud to be spearheading female football development in the city.

Yet more silverware for the Eagles in what has been our most successful season for quite some time! This weekend our u11 Celts lifted the cup after a dramatic penalty shootout, and our u12 Girls picked up the Indigo Shield after a brilliant run of form at the end of the season. Big thanks to sponsors Canterbury Roofing and Fitzgerald Jewellers
A huge well done to our u8 Saxons who completed their first season in style with a dramatic comeback win! A great platform to build on for next season. Big thanks to sponsors Kreston Reeves
Did you know that if your child has been diagnosed with a physical, learning or behavioural disability they could get involved in Pan Disability Football, which allows players to compete together and against each other in a highly supportive and inclusive environment? The Kent Disability Football League meets once a month at the Abbey School, Faversham to play a tournament-style competition, and players can do this alongside mainstream football.
At Eagles we are very interested to hear from parents/carers who may be interested in this option for their child.
We are aware that there are several players registered with us who have disabilities, and we feel this could be a really positive opportunity for them. But we’d also love to hear from those who don’t currently play in mainstream football, perhaps because it’s not a good fit for their child’s needs.
If you, or someone you know might be interested, and have a child between the ages of 8 and 16 that could qualify, please fill in our expression of interest form. The league is open to both boys and girls. At this stage we cannot guarantee that we will run any teams, it entirely depends on the level of interest and whether there are potential volunteers who could help us with this.

We're also very proud of our men's team, who won the HB&W League Junior Charity Cup yesterday at the Belmont, Whitstable. Many of this team have been together since they were young lads - brilliant to see Eagles represented so well at senior level! Congratulations lads! 💚🏆💚🦅
We could not be prouder of this magnificent team! Yesterday they lost a nail-biting cup final in extra time to Welling Blues, but at least had the consolation of picking up the league trophy after the match. It's been an incredible season for the u13 Girls, who have given their coaches, families and each other some wonderful moments that will never be forgotten. 🦅⚽️💚
Two BIG finals coming up for Eagles teams this Sunday! If you're free to go and support either our u13 Girls or our Senior Men's teams they'd really appreciate it.
Congratulations to our brilliant u13 Girls for winning the league today! Unbeaten in 2024, 90 goals scored and only two league defeats! Thank you to sponsors Boys & Maughan Solicitors and Tandem Virtual Resources for your amazing support. 🎉⚽🦅💚
