Ingredients:
100g rolled oats
75g pumpkin seeds (raw or roasted)
75g almond butter (or any nut/seed butter of your choice)
60ml honey or maple syrup 30g chia seeds 30g dried cranberries or raisins (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
**Pinch of sea salt Instructions:
Prepare Ingredients: If your pumpkin seeds are not pre-roasted and you prefer them roasted, spread them on a baking tray and roast in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes, or until they are lightly golden and fragrant. Allow them to cool before using.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, and cinnamon. If using dried cranberries or raisins, add them at this stage.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
Combine: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until everything is evenly coated and combined. The mixture should be slightly sticky but manageable.
Form Balls: Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, form the mixture into bite-sized balls, about 2.5cm in diameter. If the mixture is too sticky, chill it in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to make it easier to handle.
Chill: Place the formed energy balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
Store: Keep the energy balls in an airtight container in the fridge. They should stay fresh for up to two weeks. You can also freeze them for longer storage.

2. Incorporate Movement: Take the stairs instead of the elevator, park further from the store, or walk during phone calls.
3. Set Reminders: Schedule workout times in your calendar and treat them like important appointments.
