Delighted to be invited to the Illustration course graduation show! Got a wonderful hand-written letter from the students so I couldn't not turn up. It was great to see lots of inventive and creative work and I hope to see more from them all in the future!

We're at Festival international du film d'animation d'Annecy this year! Jon Rennie will be attending the festival and MIFA as part of the UK stand along with Creative Wales. Cloth Cat's Jon Rennie and Thomas Lucas were at the Senedd today for the Tom the Lion book launch. We've partnered with Raven Technologies Ltd to bring their character Tom to life and Y Lolfa has published the first five stories. We're looking forward to even more collaborations to explore Tom's adventures! Thanks to Welsh Government and Samuel Kurtz MS for hosting!

We hosted a fantastic two week Moho course thanks to Media Cymru , Biggerhouse Films, Lost Marble LLC and Dani Abrams. Dave Spud trainee Eleri Edwards is now directing her own short film through the Fitd Ffilm Cymru Beacons scheme and this was a great way of upskilling Welsh crew ready for that production. Hopefully this will lead to more in the future!

The "Moho House 2D Animation" course is supported by Media Cymru, in association with Cloth Cat and biggerhouse film, and trained animators in the latest industry software used by leading studios across the globe.

Wednesday saw the launch of "Pause, Rethink, Rewind, Be Kind" for Diversity Role Models at Disney HQ in London! A big thanks to David Levine for getting us involved with the project, and to follow collaborators Keiran Brown of Fitzrovia Post Production , Michelle Jones CDA of Casting , and writer Hamish Steele. It was great fun working on the three shorts and a big shout out to , and for all their hard work. All animated in CelAction .

Last month Cloth Cat attended the 2023 Manchester Animation Festival and took part in two panels on the subjects of education and the wider challenges within the industry. Here I am (MD Jon Rennie) looking very serious but enjoying discussing some very important topics with a distinguished panel of friends and colleagues.
