Blind and partially sighted people are left feeling like they “don’t matter” due to the barriers they face at polling stations.
More needs to be done to ensure they can vote independently and in secret.

We speak to many blind and partially sighted people about the barriers they face accessing healthcare, so unfortunately it’s no surprise to hear stories like this.
Authorities in Wales must do more to protect the rights of people when it comes to health.
Disability: Doctor assumed woman using wheelchair did not have s*x Adults with disabilities describe traumatic experiences trying to access healthcare.
Dyn ni’n siarad â llawer o bobl ddall ac â golwg rhannol am y rhwystrau maen nhw’n eu hwynebu wrth gael mynediad at ofal iechyd, felly nid yw’n syndod clywed straeon fel hyn yn anffodus.
Rhaid i awdurdodau yng Nghymru wneud mwy i amddiffyn hawliau pobl pan ddaw at iechyd.
