I can’t believe I’ve been away for over 7 months now… so it’s about time I introduce our little bundle of joy, Rory 💙

I have been thinking a lot about how/ when I can return and with my main job I won’t be able to commit to every evening like I used to..

I could potentially do one evening per week and weekend mornings, but I guess I want to see if this would actually work for my previous clients, please let me know by commenting or messaging me 🙏🏼

As my lovely clients know, I am expecting my first child in September🤰🏻

I am extremely excited and not yet decided when my last day will be however, I’m currently feeling a bit burnt out and needing some time to rest 🤍

Sadly, all appointments this week have been cancelled and I will not be taking any more until W/C 7th August.

❗️Cancellation Policy❗️

It’s with great sadness to be writing this and I’ve tried my best to hold of for as long as possible but unfortunately, I have no choice but to put a cancellation policy in place.

As many of you know, this is a small business that I do alongside my full time job so my availability is very limited.

It is important for me to have reliable people to fill my weekly slots and unfortunately, I have been experiencing many last minute cancellations which results in me being unable to backfill.

I understand that life happens and is sometimes out of our control but in order for me to maintain my business I will be putting the below cancellation policy in place.

I am sorry it has come to this and I do hope you understand 🤍

I thought it was time to properly introduce myself, I’m Maxine owner of The Beauty Shack 🤍

I work full time as a recruiter, which I love, and part time as a Beauty Technician. 🥀

My “shack” in based in my garden in Carterton, where I offer Gel Nails, Brow Waxing and Brow & Lash Tinting. 🪴

Due to working full time, l only take evening and weekend appointments📔

I am also fully insured 🫶🏼

I have a lovely regular client base but still have availability, so looking forward to meeting any new clients soon 🤍
