The Gems had another fantastic day exploring the inside of our pumpkins they made delicious salads in the mud kitchen using lots of describing words in their vocabulary with each other, there was great team work going on , the after school children joined in with this activity to expanding their role play even further .💚🎃💚🎃💚🎃💚🎃💚🎃💚🎃💚🎃💚🎃

Happy Halloween 🎃🕷️it was so lovely to see so many of our childminding children knocking on the door for Halloween 🎃 so many past and present gems you all looked fantastic 💚 thank you for all your pumpkin carving photos they all looked amazing 🎃🕷️

How many pumpkins tall are you ? 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 the gems estimated by guessing what number pumpkin 🎃 they was . they worked as a team , we counted out loud , Took turns , recognise numbers , helped each other . Used mathematical words , biggest to smallest, . Finding different ways to uses pumpkins 🎃

Last term we started to talk & learn about autumn 🍂 the children made hedgehogs 🦔 with home made play-Doh they counted how many spikes their hedgehogs had , we also explored different autumn trays, we talked about the leaves changing colour 🍁🍃🍂we sung songs about autumn 🎵this term we will be going on autumn walks in our local environment to see all the changes with the children please make sure your child has appropriate clothing with the changing of the seasons . We will be using lots of natural resources like conkers and chestnuts for painting with the children 💚 with lots more fun learning here at LGG .looking forward to seeing you all this week. When your husband takes you to 6 different Aldi shops after work because the wooden toy sale started today . 💚(thank you mr burb )

This week we set up a activity , we called it time for tea ☕️, age range of children was 15m to 3half years , we took turns , recognises numbers , counting , talking about time , emptying /filling , role-play , stirring , stacking , pouring , sharing , making friendships , working along side each other , pretending to feed ourselves and others ,Using a spoon . 💚☕️🥄🫖

Today the little gems went to support our older gems at their harvest mass we loved joining in the celebrations at church we took down all our donations for Medway food bank .
