This is the fan’s page for the ‘LHR’ magazine.
It’s with extreme sadness that I have to announce that LHR magazine has ceased publication. Personal circumstances and illness with my parents (that I now have to care for) mean I just don’t have time to produce the magazine. We will be sending out a letter to all our wonderful subscribers in the next week, explaining recent events and choices you have re reimbursement. I am gutted obviously, as I am proud of the magazine and I really appreciate the support we have. Thank you, sorry I failed.

There will be a major announcement tomorrow.
Brand new mag has arrived. Well done Sarah for getting all the orders out today. Please help us keep this mag going, buy a copy or a digi copy at www.vimedia.co.uk ❤️
Woo hoo, the delayed issue 10 is now at the printers. Should be back Tuesday/Wednesday next week. Also now available as a digital download. Visit www.vimedia.co.uk to buy, thanks. (Edited to show actual cover)
Firstly, apologies for the delay with issue 10.
Over the last six weeks it has become apparent that despite our best efforts firstly due to Covid and latterly the cost of living crisis that Visions in its current form is completely unviable as a business as our sales have dipped dramatically.
Whilst we decide the best path forward we have decided to set up a new company, V.I. Media to ‘protect’ our two magazines (LHR and the Londoner). From now it will be V.I. Media that will be the publisher of the magazines.
As with everything at the moment it is taking longer than expected to set-up the new bank accounts (apparently 4 weeks!). Therefore, Issue 10 is postponed until 15th August (i.e. two months later than planned). Obviously, your subscription isn’t effected and it will be transferred over to V.I. Media.
Once again I do apologise for the delay but I hope you understand that we have taken the course of action outlined above to ensure that the magazine can continue and that you wouldn’t lose any money.
On a more positive note our new book ‘Millennium Memories – London Heathrow’ has arrived in stock and is available through Visions International until the end of July via the existing sales channels… www.visionsinternational.biz or via phone - 01245 477344. It would help us greatly if you could buy this book.

Oooh, quite excited, issue 7 is well underway. One of the really interesting features is about runway 05/23. Just been sent an extremely rare shot of an aircraft lined up on 05!!! hardly ever used. Cheers James for the article and Lee for the photo. The LHR ATC feature is also fascinating. Order issue 7 now www.Visionsinternational.biz hoping to get it to print on Monday morning for delivery to us by Thursday lunch.

THIS SATURDAY:
Heathrow Plane Spotters/Photographers in conjunction with LHR Magazine are holding a Litter Pick at the World Famous Myrtle Avenue Green this Saturday October 9th from 1330-1500. Spot famed for Airliners landing on Runway 27 Left (aka "Southern Runway"). We'll be supplying Litter Pickers, Disposable Gloves, Refuse Bags etc. Arrangements have been made with Hounslow Council to take bags away afterwards. We have 2 Hounslow Councillors coming along in support on the day. What we need is a good turnout of Spotters happy to give up 60-90 mins during the quiet "British Arrivals" period between 1330 & 1500. We want to use this as good publicity for spotters with Council & Heathrow Airport. So please come along & provide your support. We know 99% of you are FOD aware & take your rubbish home. We've checked out the area & will divide volunteers up into small zones both on the Green & the stretch of A30 by the Horses Field.
We look forward to seeing you ❤️
Work on issue 6 is well under way, should be released 14th October (printers/fuel/hgv drivers willing)
Issue 5 is here. All subs and pre-orders in post tonight.
Apologies that issue 5 is running a bit late, we expect it at the end of next week.
Hopefully all subscribers will have received issue 4 by tomorrow. We will be at Heathrow for AF1 on Sunday and copies will be available to purchase, current plans are we will be at Myrtle. That might change depending on wind direction. We will also have some of our fantastic 747 coins with us. If you want either please come and see us, we will be the one’s with a proper video camera on a tripod. 😉 Even if you don’t want to purchase anything please come over and say hello, we think it will be a very long day 😂
In more positive news we will be doing a livestream from LHR tomorrow lunchtime to catch the USAF C17 coming in, on Visions Aviation Live on fb or Visions International on youtube. We will also be getting Air Force 1 and associated aircraft on Sunday afternoon.
Good and bad news. 1 box of the magazine turned up today... hoorah. Unfortunately, this was only 200 mags. We have got what we can out, but we have a lot more subscribers. Hopefully the missing boxes will arrive tomorrow.
Hi, the new issue is, err in customs at LHR. Hopefully, after a day of emailing it is now cleared and will be with us tomorrow.
