Shows how hard editing is. Good on the Princess of Wales for doing the editing herself - it's just sad there were a few mistakes in the final image. I wish someone had gone over it first and noticed the 3 or 4 errors and fixed them before publishing the image.
On the issue of editing it in the first place, it's normal for x3 kids to pull awkward or non suitable faces. In the world of digital photography, there's no need to keep trying to take the perfect photo when children are involved, so combining x4 or more images of everyone's "best" face to create x1 final image is perfectly understandable. As a family photographer, I never want to stress out families by keeping on & on trying to get the perfect poses & faces - I explain my job is to create photos. If I do this using a selection of images then so be it. It's the final image that matters.
I don't believe it's fake or ai generated at all - simply a bit of dodgy photoshopping that should have been noticed & fixed before publishing. I have been astounded at the conspiracy theories I read today. Think the most ridiculous one was that " it's not her hands they are Prince Andrews hands" although I expect that was said as a joke.
What are your thoughts on combining multiple images to create x1 final photo? How do you think they could have dealt with this differently?

Maybe it's because my son wears mens sized clothes that makes these 'preschool' age outfits look so teeny tiny on my washing line! 🩳👗👚

Christmas fun!

I read on a fellow photographers page that it's national sisters day today - and it reminded me of my beautiful friend who let me photograph her stunning children for a model shoot a few years ago. I often think of her son and how he gets on having x4 sisters (Not sure my brother could cope having 3 more of me - that's for sure !!) Richard Webb
