We are an exciting new community creative space, serving specialty coffee, seasonal small plates, cocktails & wine, with retail spaces for local small businesses and artists.

Expanding from our sister cafes in Cheltenham, Botanica Coffee Kitchen and Arc Espresso Bar, we are excited to provide a new offering in the heart of the Suffolks area.

We are looking for a creative and passionate Kitchen Manager to lead our team of Chefs at Botanica Coffee Kitchen.

About us:
We are a small independent brunch cafe in Cheltenham that takes pride in our creative seasonal menu, all made in-house. We love to use local, independent suppliers to get the best ingredients, and pair our dishes with speciality coffee and homemade drinks.

The job role:
- 30-40 hours per week
- Typical working hours between 7:30am-3:30pm, including one weekend day per week
- Competitive salary

What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the Front of House Manager to build the business
- Prepare food to a high standard
- Follow best food hygiene practices
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen
- Stock control and ordering
- Budget management, KPI tracking
- Staff training & performance management

- A foodie who is excited about preparing seasonal dishes
- High food hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player who leads by example

Absolutely delicious as it is, but made even better by adding halloumi or chorizo crumb (or both!).

Our house espresso, Aurora from our friends at 😍 We us a blend of Washed & Natural, which yields a delicious depth of flavour while still being a great all-rounder for different drinks.
