So a big thank you to everyone who turned up last night. Myself , Kev and Dave would like to thank everyone who rallied around and managed to find so many extra players at such short notice to play in the exhibition game, special thanks to John and his under 16s.
Blown away to see so many previous players and parents at the game , it was great to see you all again.
For the record Chloe’s first ever goal secured a 2-2 draw for the blues ( and she said she couldn’t play up front), and a special shout out to the blues young goalkeeper who played amazing.
So for one last time ( and this is my last post)
Thank you to all of you who have played and supported us over the years, it’s been a blast.

Unfortunately and our apologies but Thornaby have just informed us they arnt playing tonight. However we do still have an exhibition game going ahead as planned so we would still love to see you.

Our last game of the season this Thursday. Your support this season has been absolutely amazing and both myself Kev and Dave have really appreciated it and also all of your kind words.
We look forward to seeing you again on Thursday, please arrive early as we have quite a few people attending and there is a cricket game on so please use the overflow car parks if need be. Lounge will be open.

FIRST TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT

We have taken the difficult decision that we intend to stop coaching after our last game of this season.
Dave began coaching in 2007, Kev in 2009 and Mark in 2013 when we were at Lumley Ladies and we’ve coached many of the current team from that point onwards.
We’ve been incredibly lucky to have been able to be involved with so many players over the years and had a lot of success, and it’s been a privilege to have coached such talented groups of players at both Lumley Ladies and now Chester le Street United.
Whilst it’s not been an easy decision to make we feel the time is now right for someone else to take the team forward. The club will appoint a new First Team manager in due course.

Thanks to the club, all of the players, parents and supporters for all of your commitment and support over the years we couldn’t have done it without you.
Also a big thank you to the various teams we have played throughout the years. We have made so many friends over the years and we wish you the best of luck going forward.

Great game today down at the Riverside against and a deserved win for us 4-3. Fantastic commitment and desire from us throughout today and scored some great goals. Goals from Talia, Holly, Jade and Scotland. Some very happy proud coaches today ladies well done. Great to see so many fans there today , as ever thank you for your support. Good luck to Gateshead in your remaining games

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DOM 🧤

In loving memory of our wonderful team mate Dom, joint with Hartlepool United FC we are hosting a Charity Football match, further details to be announced soon!

It was a year yesterday since Dom sadly left us leaving a massive whole in our hearts & lives that will never be replaced.

All are welcome to attend the event to remember our amazing team mate & friend, Dom!
