If travelling from the north to the stadium please be aware there are lane closures in place on the A1(m) . Please allow extra time for your journey.
A1 Birtley to Coal House - National Highways This section of the A1 suffers congestion, particularly during peak hours, which can result in unreliable journey times. Traffic is also expected to grow with new housing and employment developments planned for the area. Road improvements are needed to support this growth.
