Krum Gelato

Approaching Autumn.. it may have got a bit less warm now but we’re always there for you scooping daily, producing the goodness you definitely need in your life!

Our pistachio flavour is done using 100% of the incredible Sicilian Bronte nuts and no colorants. The intensity is at the very top, and joined with the cremosity of our product, makes it an outstanding unique feature at Krum.

In these bags we receive from Italy lies part of the reason why our gelato and becoming so so popular. The other part is of course the dairy from the lovely friends .

The mix of powders has been carefully studied before our opening last year and continues to be perfected daily based on our experience and your feedback.

Our work collaborators think it’s really unique and that we should consider applying for in-trade contests for a number of the flavours we produce!

As all of you have noticed we have taken a socials break period over the last few weeks.

This was for two key reasons-we wanted to see the effects it had on what we do and how we do it and to observe the local scene from the outside. We got what we wanted!

We definitely missed our interactions here, your stories, and posting our behind-the-scenes and spur-of-the-moment shots.

The great news is that this did not stop you from coming in at all and August so far has been the best month since we reopened this year in March.. Thanks!

We are open 7 days a week, every day into the night (9.30pm or even 10pm at the weekend) to cover your post-dinner gelato cravings.

Sooo, it’s official!

Appointed by His Grace the Duke of Westminster and Miss Olivia Henson to serve our gelato to anyone coming to Chester on Friday 7th June.. FOR FREE!

We have already started an unprecedented production due to the high demand we foresee for the day. For the occasion, we will be opening the shop at 10am and scoop on the day until stock lasts.

As most of you have noticed in the last few days, we will also produce a batch of lemon sorbet (the theme of the couple’s wedding cake) using very special Italian lemons. The juice of these lemons is incredible and the lemon rind gives the sorbet an unbelievable aroma.

This will be served at Krum exclusively on Friday (again until stock lasts) together with a selection of our authentic gelato flavours and sorbets.

Incredible initiative and very proud and happy to take part to it. We can’t wait to see all the city celebrating!

Done with a quark base that allows the flavour to be quite neutral but with a real aftertaste kick, a real flavoursome jammy raspberry ripple, and a GF red fruit crumble to add texture and extra flavour.

Thanks to EVERY SINGLE one of you who came along yesterday.. we served nearly 1000 between tubs, cones, affogatos, magnums and cookies, unbelievable!!

We can’t be happier with the way this season started, and we look forward to our improvements, collaborations and other surprises..

Whilst spring is attempting to show its full power, the days are getting longer and we are seeing Krum getting busier and busier.

We listen to your requests and so we are happy to announce that from next week we will stretch our closing times to at least 9pm during the week (Monday to Thursday), keeping our usual 9.30pm for the weekend.

So, if you are having dinner in any of your favourite restaurant restaurants in the city centre, you can now opt for a visit to your favourite gelato shop 😋
