Hey folks, we love a collaboration, especially one that involves a new, local business that's been set up by two lovely local lads!!

We're thrilled to have as our new neighbours and their new Salon looks truly remarkable! Like Prohibition but instead of being a dead cool bar, it's a dead cool Barber shop!

So to celebrate the new Salon and to drive a few heads their way, Vincent and Elliott will be taking over our back room next Wednesday 31st July offering FREE haircuts to anybody who wants one! The guys will be there all day so pop in, grab a cocktail and get a suave new 'do' whilst you're at it!

There'll also be some lovely free gifts from too so you can leave smelling great, looking great and feeling great (after a few Old Fashioneds)!

Announcement!

We're thrilled to announce that we have taken over the spaces both above and below our current site here at Prohibition! Fear not though, Prohibition will be staying exactly how it is; continuing to serve up delicious house cocktails in our wonderfully private and relaxing drinking den 7 days a week.

So what's happening?

The project is called Parmar House and will be split into two phases.

Downstairs will be our new bar, here we will serve amazing wines and other speciality drinks from around the world. There'll be something for everyone, whether it's a glass of one of our quirky wines, a carafe of one of our more traditional wines or a bottle from our extensive list. We'll also be serving delicious cold beers and, of course, carefully crafted classic cocktails. We aim to create a space that is welcoming and comfortable with a splash of decadence.

Upstairs will be transformed into a Boutique Hotel where you'll find 5 individually designed suites. We have endeavoured to preserve the heritage of the building in each of these suites to reflect Chester's remarkable architecture. Here, guests will be able to relax and enjoy a stay in our beautifully curated hotel.

We are very excited to announce that the first phase of Parmar House, our new bar, will be opening in November 2023. The hotel phase of Parmar House is due to open it's doors in Spring 2024.

We'd like to say a massive thank you to our hard working team that make it happen day in day out and most importantly to you, our loyal guests, who've been with us every step of the way for the past 9 years.

We'll keep you posted with the launch date.

So the big reopening is just around the corner and before we know it it'll be the 17th May and we'll be swinging open our doors to welcome back your beautiful faces!

As you can imagine we're unbelievably excited about this and judging by the amount of messages we've received from you asking what the craic is when we finally open our doors so are you!

-Walk-Ins only...NO BOOKINGS NECESSARY!!

- We've been working on a new cocktail menu so you can look forward to a whole host of delicious and exquisite new concoctions (aswell as the reappearance of a few old favourites)

- You can book the private room for parties of up to 22 people from June 21st
