The Chester Film Co-op Meetups are currently on extended hiatus.

A lack of interest post Covid + work & other commitments has made it difficult to continue with the Meetups.

BUT, never say never. Hopefully, we can revisit them again.

So fingers-crossed, ``It's not goodbye, it's see you later``.

Just over a week ago Adam Bowler / Adam Bowler Photography & Video Services represented Film Chester at the Manchester January screening of IndieFlicks Monthly Film Festival!

Hosted at the awesome Cultplex in Manchester’s Green Quarter, this month's screening featured another terrific lineup of films! Deciding on a winner sure was tricky!

A few nights ago Adam Bowler / Adam Bowler Photography & Video Services represented Film Chester at the Manchester January screening of IndieFlicks Monthly Film Festival!

Hosted at the awesome Chapeltown Picture House in Manchester’s Green Quarter.

Indieflicks kicked off 2023 in style with a terrific lineup of films and the guys changed up the normal style of voting. This month the audience had to decide the winner for best overall film in the last 12 months! The team had picked the nominations from a selection of the winners from the previous months and a rather swanky trophy was presented to the filmmaker who claimed the title!

No Meetup this month due to the Christmas break, but we'll be back raring to go on the fourth Thursday of January (Jan 26th).

The event had some superb films on offer along with a brilliant Q&A featuring at least one of the filmmakers from each of the films on the programme! It sure was a crowded stage!

Another great meetup.
We screened several things, from a horror teaser, to a fully written & produced original orchestral scene-score, & even a few more things in between. 😁
Oh, and a sneak-peek on a book detailing how to go about Freelancing. 😯

At the end of July Adam Bowler / Adam Bowler Photography & Video Services represented Film Chester at the The Liverpool Filmmakers' Hangout's event at the Liverpool Arts Bar!

Hi all, unfortunately due to work commitments Andy Taylor will be unable to attend this evening’s event.

We should however still have a good selection of content to show and expect another great night of networking.

Hi everyone, we just wanted to make you all aware that despite this week's Industrial Action on the Railway Lines we will still be running our monthly Chester Film Co-op Networking event on the 23rd June as planned.

We appreciate that many of our members rely on the train services to attend our meet-ups. If you cannot make it this month we will be running our next event on the 28th July.

Hopefully we'll still be able to welcome most of you this week and and have a great night of film screenings, camera gear talk and a couple of nice cold pints!
