We will closed on Monday 26th August due to the August Bank Holiday.

All Child Benefit payments due Monday 26th August will be processed on Friday 23rd August.

Our Outreach Team will be at the Muir Housing Fun Day on Thursday 15th August from 11am - 2pm at the Glebe Green Estate in Winsford.

NOW RECRUITING IN CREWE – OUTREACH OFFICER – CREDIT UNION

Our services are now expanding to cover Crewe and we have been fortunate enough with the support of Bentley Motors and Cheshire Community Foundation to offer a position of an Outreach Officer to serve this area.

As we work on a not-for-profit basis with the intentions to ensure the most financially vulnerable are offered alternatives to illegal lenders, we have been given the opportunity to bring to the Crewe area a much more affordable and safe means of borrowing. Not just that, we also offer safe and practical savings solutions which we are even proud to offer the younger generation through our Junior Saver Account - returning a competitive 5%!. We even run School Banks, where the children play an active role in the facilitation of the banking sessions each week.

Payments have been processed from our end. The Co-Operative Bank are currently working on this issue this morning.

MEMBER REMINDER – THE PORTAL
After a review of our presence in The Portal (Ellesmere Port) and the associated reducing footfall utilising our services from this location, we have arrived at a difficult decision to reduce our opening days.

However, we are still driven to maintain provision for Credit Union services in Ellesmere Port and in doing so will move forward from the 13th May 2024 by opening every Thursday, with access from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm.
