I was invited by DJ Deb Grant to make a mixtape of recent homegrown tracks for Selector Radio - British Council, so I picked out some records I've been enjoying over the past few months, plus a few of my own remixes/dubs from the last year. What's that you ask? Of course some of the artists are not homegown, but seeing as I dubbed them, they slipped through the net. There's a couple of exclusives too, including my dub edit of The Beastie oys' reggae track 'Beastie Revolution' from their 2nd single back in 1983.

Very exciting news for us this morning.
Our documentary Getting It Back: The Story Of Cymande will be released in the cinemas in the UK/IE on February 16th via BFI

The film will also be available on BFI Player and Blu-ray in Feb 2024 as well.

A new film trailer and details on when you can purchase tickets in the UK/IE to see the film will be announced soon. Details of when the film will be shown in other theaters and cities around the world is coming soon as well.

Large ups to the Live Rooms, an amazing addition to the live music scene in Chester - a pleasure to put on & play at some great shows there - the Dub Pistols incredible show for our 10th birthday, Pharoahe Monch, DJ Nu-Mark, Craig Charles, Don Letts, The Beat, Dreadzone to name a few! 🔥🔥🔥

On this day, back in 2013 we opened, launching with an incredible show from The View. Since then we've seen the likes of; Martha Reeves, The Beat, You Me At Six, The Misfits, Uli Jon Roth, INME, Cradle of Filth, China Crisis, Nik Kershaw, Dreadzone, The Hoosiers, Gary Numan, Red Rum Club, The Twang, Bad Manners, Hamish Hawk, The Wedding Present, The Royston Club, Chas & Dave, The Anchoress, CAST and so many more have passed through these doors.

We'd like to make a quick and special mention to Matthew Arnold, who we thank and miss dearly. Between him and Aled Owens with Ian Shaw, Dom G, Andy G and so many others too, they created a new space for live music in Chester, which did and continues to welcome bands both local and from afar, upcoming and prominent to our grassroots venue in the beautiful city of Chester.
