BLT - Band rocking the Club tonight! Fantastic band!

Tomorrow bank holiday Monday we are open from 12 til 3 and then 7:30 till 11. Also from Friday 14th June we will be opening from 4pm on Fridays.

Thanks Magenta Bling for a fantastic night of live music, you were brilliant! :)

Snooker tournament schedule is now up on the noticeboard in the bar. First Match is in a couple of weeks. Jon will send a text or email to all competitors to let them know their match date and time.

Rules:
• Each round will be best of 3 frames knockout with the winning player progressing to the next round.
• The two losing semi-finalists will play 3 frames to decide 3rd place.
• The final will be best of 5 frames and will take place during a weekend.
• No frame shall be started if there is less than 30 minutes before time at the bar.
• If running late, the current frame shall finish within 10 minutes of ‘drinking up time’ to ensure the room is vacated in time. If the frame is incomplete then the player with the highest score takes the frame.
• Players can agree to continue their match another time as long as it doesn’t clash with another scheduled match.
• While your preferences for times of play will try to be met, during later rounds there will be less flexibility; players unable to agree to multiple suggested match dates may have to forfeit the round.

This years AGM will take place on Sunday 14th April at 13:00 (1pm). Nominations for commitee members can now be taken, and the forms are pinned up on our main noticeboard. If you use the Club regularly for general socialising, for a drink after playing sports, or for playing darts, bingo or snooker, and you have time to volunteer your help, then please do consider joining our committee. It's really important that we have a strong committee with varied different voices, and suggestions for improvements and new ideas, but also with everyone focused and united on doing what's best for the Club; so please do consider being put forward for the committee. For all other members, please do attend the AGM to show your support and cast your vote on important matters. A meeting agenda and our full statement of accounts will be available to all members at the AGM. Many thanks!

📢 Did you know that as a resident you are welcome to attend any of the Parish Council meetings?

These are held at Aldingbourne Community Sports Centre, with the dates and times publicised on here, Instagram and our website.

Of particular interest may be the Planning Meeting to be held at 7pm on Tuesday 12th March where the Cala Homes application (Application No: AL/11/24/OUT) will be discussed.

If you are unable to make it to the Planning Meeting, residents will also have the opportunity to speak at the Full Council Meeting on Tuesday 5th March at 7pm.

All planning applications are shown on our website for 28 days and there is a link that takes you directly to the portal to provide comments.
