Take a look at this fun dog show, being held at Waldergraves Holiday Park on the 8th September! 🐕.

The show will be raising money for Dedham Therapy Farm too! 🐾

The winning raffle ticket from our open days is 134. The winner has been contacted! Thank you to all of you that attended and supported the farm over the summer ☀️

Each family group attending this week's open day will be able to choose from one taster activity ticket, on the day, on a first come first serve basis.

The choice of activities are
Donkey grooming
Alpaca walking
Rabbit & guinea pig petting
Chicken interaction
Bird box making.

All other activities will be free flow.

We hope you understand this is for the wellbeing of our animals and the enjoyment of everyone on the day.

We were amazed at the turnout and support we had for our first open day. Thank you to all that attended and supported our open day, fundraiser.

In view of the high number of visitors we had on the 7th of August please be aware we may be required to limit access if we become at capacity.

We politely ask you to refrain from arriving before 13:30 and queuing as we will not be able to allow you entry prior to this.

We are pleased to receive some funding from the National Lottery community fund! This funding will be used to renovate the farm garden.

This will allow Farm Assistants to grow even more veggies/fruits and flowers.

Gardening has so many therapeutic benefits, providing a sense of achievement and the opportunity to assess and develop skills such as fine and gross motor skills.

Please come along to our open days and experience a taster of some of our session activities! Open to anyone.

Perfect afternoon for an alpaca walk. 🦙 Alpaca walking is not only a fun and memorable experience, it also offers a range of benefits to overall wellbeing. Being outdoors helps to reduce stress levels, improve mood and increase energy levels.

Working with our team of alpacas enables young people to learn transferable skills for the future. Our alpacas are highly socialable animals that enjoy interacting with Farm Assistants.

We are pleased to announce we have been awarded funding for 5 individuals to access a pilot programme of occupational therapy assessments in a non clinical environment for free!

This project has been funded by the North East Essex Health and Wellbeing Alliance and the Neighbourhood programme. Funding is administered through One Colchester.

If you have a young person between the ages of 9 - 18 years old, that is experiencing difficulties with day to day activity, you can apply for them to access an assessment with us.
