Today, I’ve donated a pile of books I used to read to my kids. It’s brought back loads of lovely memories and I and hope another family can get some happy memories reading them, too.

At Oxfam, our focus is – and always has been – addressing the root causes of poverty. When communities don't have access to safe water, it's harder for them to access education, healthcare, sanitation and much more. Oxfam's Kōtui Programme is working to change this.

Pictured here are members of our WaSH Hardware team at a newly built tap stand in Jugusa, Papua New Guinea. New tap stands like these will ensure that nobody in Jugusa will have to go without clean water again, or spend their days sourcing and retrieving water for their families.

We’ve had some fabulous donations come in today, and with too, which helps us raise an extra 25% on our sales and give even more support to people thank you so much for all your donations. They make such a difference.

We are so very proud of Adam our brilliant volunteer at Oxfam Cottingham. He has returned from the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 with not one, but two gold medals. A massive congratulations to Adam from everyone! What an incredible achievement.
