Our second part of the night out was a surprise baby shower for a member of our part time staff.

We rocked up in the boom bus at the Keel row pub to use their private function room upstairs.

Thanks to the keel row for providing a beautiful function room and lovely buffet.

Appreciation post!

This is our first post in 3 weeks as the first half of the holidays has been amazing. Come rain or shine and we seem to be doing something right.

We like to say a massive thanks supporting a small business and giving our staff plenty of hours during the school holidays.

Tomorrow is normally the busiest Saturday of the month as we have the makers and bakers in manor walks. We will have plenty of stock available and you will see new treats and flavours in the new cake cabinet. Extra staff on too!

Brand new oven cooking 6 trays bakes!
Came home to a broken oven from holiday. Clearly the oven didn’t enjoy not being used for a week!
Luckily we have two ovens for these situations.

Unfortunately with only getting back from holiday last night we won’t be doing any teacher gifts. We were hoping to get some done but this is just not going to be possible for us.
Our shelves are now filling up and cake slices and old school trays are now available

This is our family hotel in Cyprus. Been coming here over 26 years now!
We had our honeymoon is this hotel nearly 16 years ago and we renewed our wedding vows on our 10th anniversary just behind us.
We are back home tomorrow and the ovens will be back on as soon as we are back ready to work hard and hopefully come back next July.

Holiday notice

We are now away for a weeks holiday! It’s business as usual as we will still be open.

We have rammed our shelves full and more in storage but at some point over the weekend the shelves will probably empty so please without causing panic don’t leave it too late.

Stock will be back to normal on Friday the 19th July

I was invited to a baby shower today and I was left too design the cake! Time to get creative!
I did get a little carried away but it was a pleasure making her day even more special.
Everything was handmade including all 25 of the babies.
