This was a great test for boys today, winning the game comfortably in the end but played against a very good side.

Overall a great display, we defended as a team very well but just need to keep our concentration and composure, when defending certain situations.

Two of our colleagues here at K2 Crawley attended the annual Crawley Community Awards held at The Hawth Theatre on Tuesday evening.

Here is our Activity and Wellbeing Manager - Dave Downey - presenting the Sports Award to worthy winners Limitless Youth FC (LYFC) on behalf of Everyone Active (which proudly sponsors the category each year).

LYFC is a not-for-profit community interest company football club (established only in 2023), run by volunteers made up mainly from parents and family members of children who play at the club.

LYFC seeks to provide a fun and safe football environment for children from a diverse and all-inclusive background, where they can express and enjoy themselves and be taught by the Club's philosophy which is “there is no limit to your success”.

The evening was a very humbling and inspiring event. Our congratulations to ALL the category winners and shortlisted finalists, and of course to Crawley Borough Council for organising yet another successful Awards night.

🎉Limitless Youth FC CIC is thrilled to announce that we’ve been awarded a £10K grant from the Chagossian Fund by the Sussex Community Foundation & FCDO! This fund is a testament to the UK government’s commitment to support Chagossians wherever they reside. Massive thank you to both Sussex Community Foundation and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office for awarding us this grant.

Our gratitude is boundless. It’s been a journey of learning and perseverance since we first applied nearly a year ago. Today, we stand proud and thankful for the support that has brought us here. A heartfelt thank you from Jean Evenor, Maxwell Evenor and David Elysee.

This grant is a game-changer! It will enable us to provide free access for the current Chagossian children part of the Club to play football with their friends, fostering integration within the Chagossian community and beyond. A portion of the grant will be allocated for pitch hire.

But that’s not all! We’re investing in the future of our young Chagossian men and women, including Jean, Maxwell, David, and more. This grant will fully fund their FA Courses, providing them with a platform to grow and succeed. We can’t wait to share their success stories with you in the coming months.

Why are we doing this? Because we believe in the power of knowledge. We’re committed to equipping the Chagossian community with the skills they need to thrive and pass on to future generations.
