Session 2 of Best Foot Forward in Parenting at Blossom & Bloom Charity even had two of our babies joining us for a feed 😁

As its Carers Week we are delighted that our application to Tesco Stronger Starts has been successful and our SATURDAY WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG CARERS project will be put forward to a customer vote in Tesco stores. Voting will commence in Ruthin store from the first week in July 2024 until the end of September 2024.

Last week, in KIM 4 Her Holywell’s Flourishing into the Future group, we were joined by Tracy and Chris from The Denbigh Workshop/Y Gweithdy Dinbych, who led a discussion of what symptoms arise when we are feeling anxious, stressed or fearful and the impact this can have physically on the body. They talked about the symptoms being a natural response for a human when feeling worried, scared, fearful, stressed or anxious, and knowing when it’s more than that. We looked at what could help manage and reduce symptoms and finished the session with a guided mindfulness breathing technique for everyone to use when feeling anxious.

Breaktimes are just as important for making friends as the sessions are here at Saturday Workshop 😁
