Our Nightingale residents created our dragon for Chinese New Year, we also tried Chinese food including spring rolls, prawn crackers and fortune cookies.😀

We have upped the tempo of our seated and standing exercises - we worked out to the Rock and Roll classics this week.😀

Hoops and cones was great fun with the team, residents, family and friends joining in!😀

Nightingale residents enjoyed our Burns Night celebrations including making haggis sausage rolls. We had fun singing along to Scottish traditional songs including Donald Where's your trousers?

We were delighted to wish Sapinder a very happy birthday from all the team and residents at Nightingale!🎂

Nightingale residents were enthusiastic with the seated exercises and skittles last week!😀

Last week Harjid enjoyed a visit to Derby's cultural quarter and we had fun choosing a new dupatta scarf. We then purchased chappatis, curry, pakoras and samosas ready for our evening meal.😀

We had a spiritual service this afternoon. Nightingale residents were also singing the hymns.😀

Board games for Nightingale residents and reliving our scouting days with knot tying. David did a reef knot from memory - once a scout those skills are never forgotten.😀
