WOW. What a weekend!

Once again DCGC artistic squad have maintained their 100% pass rate at grades. Some outstanding gymnastics in a very talented region.
Some highlights from the weekend are-

Prep 1- the first year of grading for our 8 year olds in a huge category of 75 gymnasts!

A massive well done to all the tumblers that took part in the Regional Championships today. For a lot of them it was their first time comp and they all performed and behaved amazingly. They did us proud. We came away with 6x🥇 6x🥈 and 1x🥉.A massive thank you to Dal, Kian, Tom,Tarran and Isabelle for giving up your Sunday to help and support the team.

What a great weekend for the tumbling squad for the first competition of 2024. We came back with 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 🥈🥈. A big well done to all those who took part and massive thank you to Daljit, Kian and Tom for coaching and judging all day.

Massive congratulations to Remi Clifford and Charlie Box on being selected for the English squad for tumbling. What a great first year back after COVID. We can't believe how far you've come and that's all down to yours and Daljit Tamber hard work. Well done to all 3 of you. It does show that hard work and perseverance pays off 🔥🔥🔥

WOW. What a way to end the competition year. The artistic girls have had the best time at their last comp of the year which was also a first for our tiniest gymnasts.
Not one gymnast left without a medal or ribbon and we had 2 overall winners. Well done girls, proud as always 💖

Shout out to our parents that took part in the handstand competition and to Maddie for judging once again.

Huge well done to artistic gymnast Betsy for qualifying to represent Derbyshire at the regional finals yesterday. Betsy was the youngest in the team and managed to hold her own and perform with confidence and maturity, helping the team win the bronze🥉
Thank you to all the artistic squad that travelled to support her and thank you again to Maddie for judging. What a team!♥️

Spaces now available for the Autumn term starting on November 7th.
Parent/child classes are on a Tuesday and Friday at 9.45 and 10.45am. They are 45 mins and cost £5.50.
Independent classes for 3/4yr olds are also available ( message for more information on availability)
Classes are held at Derby City Gymnastics club, at Lancaster sports centre, chapel st DE1 3GU
