Yesterday we took on Loughborough in the cup, despite the score line we can see a massive improvement from our previous games. Our passing, communication and defence is getting so much stronger!! We left a 9-0 loss being proud of each other and really optimistic for our future games! Thank you to and everyone else for your support!

MOM- this week we have two… Queen Kayleigh our GK had a great game with some stunning saves and Tiegan a strong game throughout and great runs up the pitch!
DOD- Saffie for forgetting her skort!

Tomorrow we have the first round in the cup against Loughborough! It’s a home game so it would be great to have some support at St. Benedict’s school 7.30pm!

Our first game of the season left us with an 8-0 loss against Uni of Notts. We can see improvements on things we’ve worked on in training and connected better as a team more often so we are optimistic for future games!

Shout out to everyone who came and supported us, it was great to have you there!

LETS GO DERBY 💙🧡

A great game against De Montfort today. We started strong, kept possession well and focused on communicating but sadly we ended the first half 1-0 down. Entering the second half, we kept the tempo high and didn’t let our heads drop which led us to a goal from Lilly Franklin (hungover but still flooringit for a goal)!!

Can’t wait to see what else we can do in the coming weeks (with a full squad next time!!). Well played everyone!

A very wet and cold evening game against Loughborough 6s saw us have our first loss of the season. We keep our heads up, train harder and player harder in the next game. Proud of everyone in the squad today.

MOM: Kayleigh, our GK with some quality saves, she kept moral up and shouted louder than she knew she could.

DOD: Eloise Swift, despite putting her skort on the right way round today, she still managed to have a 100% DOD voting for her ridiculous comments. These includes (but definitely not limited to): I don’t want to play anymore as my makeup will run and thinking we had the ball in our D when actually it’d just been half time. Never change, we love your hype!

MOM: Suzie- our GK, first time playing as GK today and she smashed it with several good saves! Ella A- absolute speed demon today!! Really great performance all round!

DOD- Swifty (Eloise) where do I start? Tackling your own teammate, skort on backwards, diving, not joining lounge… the list goes on!
