A recently completed set of bench seat cushions for a customer’s holiday home. The fabric is a beautiful colour and the extra Dacron layer over the foam creates a plump and plush finish. Customer happy, I’m happy. 😍

Another day, another coat zip, this time a detachable sleeve zip, sounds simple and I wish it had been, it was quite a feat of engineering, but every day is a school day so putting this one down as a strong learning curve. Persistence pays off, so happy with final result and this very expensive coat has a new lease of life!

Memory items made from clothing, I can make cushions, quilts or cuddly toys, this time cats made from suit jackets. I’m so pleased with how they turned out.

Another successful darning job, this time a gorgeous fine wool jumper, a hole had been made by the label but not visible at all now. Customer very happy, me very happy 😊

A newly inserted zip to replace the broken one in this gorgeous Barbour jacket. I love giving garments a new lease of life and saving them from landfill!

Darning, it takes practice but the results are quite pleasing. A few stitches can rescue a garment destined for the bin! In this case a wool jacket and a merino wool jumper both of which had been literally moth eaten!
