I managed to speak to a number of people on Sunday, but just to make sure that everyone knows, we have now finished water polo training for the summer. We will start training again on 10th September.

Make sure you rest and have fun so that you are fully refreshed for the new session.

Sunday 16th April - No Training - Easter Sunday
Sunday 23rd April - NoTraining
Sunday 30th April - Training as normal

NO WATERPOLO NEXT SUNDAY 12 FEBRUARY 2017

Hi Everone,

Half terms starts next weekend so there will be no Waterpolo on Sunday 12 February 2017. We will be training as normal on Sunday 19 February 2017.

Our last Waterpolo training session of this year will be this Sunday 11/12/2016 and our first training session of the New Year will be 08/01/2017.

I hope to see you all on Sunday, but just in case, have a very merry and relaxing Christmas and New Year so that you are refreshed, recharged and raring to go next year.

Training as normal this Sunday - 2RM between 18:00 - 20:00.

As it is half term we would like to just check the numbers that will be training on Sunday 30 October 2016 to make sure that we have enough athletes for a constructive session. Please can you reply to my e-mail to let me know if you are planning to come along on 30 October 2016.

Club Champs are on this weekend so there will be no water polo training in the pool this Sunday (25/01/16). Vlad will be running a land training session from 5pm to 7pm for players that would like to come along - meet as usual at the entrance to 2RM.

I hope you had a great summer and are feeling refreshed and raring to go.

Pool training will begin again this Sunday (11/09/16) at the normal times of 6:00 pm. - 8:00 pm. However, we want players to increase their fitness at the start of the season, following the long lazy summer. So to build on the success of the ‘fitness fun on the beach’ last week we will be holding a land based fitness session prior to pool training at 5:00pm this Sunday meeting at the 2RM entrance (please make sure that you bring trainers). If this is successful the plan is to hold this session every week as long as the light lets us.

To continue the focus on basic fitness, we have also agreed that Water polo only players will be able to attend a single swimming session each week. This session will be selected based on the age and ability of the player as well as availability with in the Seagulls swimming structure. The sessions will be discussed individually with the players and parents.

Finally we have decided that we will not be charging match fees this year - this will hopefully make the experience of cheering on the super fit teams even more enjoyable.

Another season has gone and we are now in the Summer holidays so there will be no Waterpolo training until September. We will start back on Sunday 11th September 2016.

We have a critical KS3 home match this weekend against West Dorset - 2RM from 6:00 to 7:00 on Sunday . There will be normal training after the match (7:00 to 8:00). Please come along and support the KS3 team as West Dorset are our key rivals for the Gold Medal.

Just to make sure everyone knows that the matches have been cancelled this weekend (08/05/16) so we will be training as normal as sunday night.

impressive performance by our junior team tonight. with just six players, the team worked really hard together to beat salisbury away 6-10. well done to james, ross, edward, ellen, callum and abi. great work guys.

There will be no Water Polo training this Sunday (27th March 2016) as it is Easter Sunday. Training will start again at the normal time on 3rd April 2016.

juniors, another 17 goal-er. 17:4 was the winning score. our players were: james, ross, peter, edward, matt, callum, ellen, matt, charlie and cameron. some great saves from cameron in goal and goals from matt, charlie, edward, james, peter and ross. everyone played well. well done guys. good leadership from captain james.

under 15s: great work by our players alfie , emmanuele, anashe, oliver, louis, jacob, evie, ashley and georgina. alfie great in goal; emmanuele and jacob working well as a goal-scoring machine. ashley and louis also getting a goal each. thx for being a fab captain anashe. well done to you all :))

we play salisbury tonight. two matches; u15 at 6 juniors at 7. see you there :))

We will be holding training as normal on Sunday at 2RM. Unfortunately there has been a communication breakdown and we need to re-schedule the match against Bridport. Another week to hone our skills before the next match.

There will be no Water Polo training this Sunday (6th December 2015) as there is an Inter-county Tournement running at Millfield and a large number of our players, coaches and organisers will be involved.

We will be training again on 13 December 2015 which will be the last training session before Christmas.
