Passionate about inclusive music!
At Miniature Music Makers we are passionate about music being inclusive for all. We specialise in music for pre-school children and intergenerational music groups for pre-school children and elderly people together. Bringing music to pre-schools, groups with parents or carers, bespoke groups for children with additional needs and groups in old people’s homes we believe music is for all whatever your abilities. No musical ability is needed to join in the with groups and they are friendly and welcoming. Behind the scenes, all Miniature Music Makers sessions are designed to help children’s development - songs are chosen for each session that use different motor skills, working together in a group as the parachute is used, songs to help with speech development, as well as plenty of opportunities to practice listening skills and communication - however you won’t notice any of that when you come to a group, just that your child is having fun. Intergenerational groups are planned with the same precision for the children’s development, but also with songs that the older people may remember from their younger years and plenty of opportunities for young and old to interact together and have fun together.
