✨ Skills session ✨

Come and revise your skills with us on the 16th of February from 12:00-13:00 in Dalhousie ! It is free for everyone and anyone to attend, and is an open session so pop in during the hour space and leave whenever you need to. Committee members will be running the session, and as always available to answer any questions you may have.

Due to incident at Dalhousie Building the Q+A will now take place in room H2, Fulton Building, located on Smalls Lane.

Welcoming our first years and second year nursing students to a Q&A for all your placement questions before you venture into your first practise environment. We have third year students studying adult, child and mental health nursing to talk about their experience and what you should expect!

Free to attend, and attend as you like! Come along after your class for one question or come along with a list of questions.

We hope we can ease some nerves especially for the first years by offering this session.

An opportunity to apply and take part as a key member of our committee has become available.

The position of Welfare Rep has come available after our current holder stepped down. Craig Camponi has been instrumental in forming and establishing the society, and been a key member for involving those in the Kirkcaldy Campus, and will be a huge loss seeing him leave!

HOW DO I APPLY?

If you are interested in applying please write and message us a 200 word max statement on why you believe you would be best suited to the position of Welfare Rep.
Closing date on notes of interest will be Saturday 8th October 9am.

After this, notes of interest will be published to our social media, and an opportunity for society members to vote via Google docs will be made available for a short period of time.

If anybody has any questions with regards to this, DM us and will look to help!

Final touches for Freshers Fair 2022 today!

If your a nursing student or health sciences student at Dundee, and free between 1200-1600, come along to our stall at Campus Green , and try out some CPR, get some free candy, and get some top class banter from Smirnoff Raspberry Crushes poster boy and our President, Jamie Thom.

Jamie is also an accomplished 3rd and final year nursing student currently on placement in Ward 1 Ninewells, Cardiology.
