On Sunday 11 August, our leaders Stuart, Heather and Adedamasi will be walking 20 miles for the Kiltwalk Mighty Stride and some friends of the 20th are walking 5 miles for the Wee Wander. Its in aid of raising funds for our group trip to London in 2025. If you would like to contribute, please visit our Just Giving fundraising page. Any donation would be most appreciated. Thank you

The scouts finished off the term with a visit to see Circus Extreme. A fantastic show, loved by the leaders and kids. And we’ve probably kept them in business for the next 3-4 years with the amount of popcorn, candy floss, slush and light up wands purchased!

Would just like to take this chance to say a big thank you to all kids and parents for all your support this year. Also a massive thank you to Helen, Rachel and Arin for their time and commitment and making it all possible. Looking forward to lots of new adventures next year!⚜️

A very well done to our Cubs this weekend who participated in the District Cub Flag.
The B Team managed to come in a brilliant second place.
Cubs took part in a range of challenges including chariot building, tent pitching, orienteering, fencing, Japanese writing, Chinese window flowers, Hell Hole Trial, Boules, Australian Celebrities and The Captain Scott Challenge. They were marked on teamwork, behaviour and success.
We also had a campfire and a silent disco, and today we had some It’s A Knockout games.

Well done to the Cubs who showed excellent skills and behaviour across the weekend, and coped with the activities and weather very well.

You should all be proud of yourselves.

A huge well done to the scouts who represented the group at this years District Flag camping competition. They all did a fantastic job and gained a very respectable 3rd place🥉

A weekend filled with axe throwing, tomahawk throwing and lots of other fun activities in the sweltering heat. Along with the added bonus of the northern lights on Friday evening.

Youve all done the group proud⚜️

Today we joined the 5th Downfield Cub Pack as we took part in Trailjam 2024. Groups around the world were all on walks and hikes around the world on the same day.
We started in Clatto and finished in Camperdown taking in Templeton Woods along the way.
A stop at the Duck Pond to feed the ducks in Camperdown Park was followed by snacks and for some a play in the park.
Thanks to the 5th for their company and also to all the Cubs and leaders for coming along and the excellent behaviour.

Some photos from past couple of weeks. Science night last week and this week, half the pack working together to make shortbread while the other half listened to Baloo's Astronomy talk - all switch next week!
