We are a group of Volunteers in Pomeroy and surrounding areas
bringing people together
to engage with horticulture โ
improving their local environment
tackling local issues and creating spaces that are a source of pride for people of all ages.
The Outdoor Partnership will be delivering a series of inclusive walks, in partnership with Mountaineering Ireland, suitable for adults with limited mobility, disabilities and wheelchair users.

It's all happening this weekend in Pomeroy Forest, Saturday 29th June from 11am to 6pm!
With over 25 food and craft stalls and a full schedule of entertainment from cookery demonstrations, music, foraging and children's entertainment there is something for everyone.
Join us at the Taste Mid Ulster market in Pomeroy, Co. Tyrone, next weekend where you will see local produce, cookery demonstrations and live music come together to celebrate what Mid Ulster has to offer.
The market will be open from 11am to 6pm on Saturday 29th June.
There will be Cookery demonstrations from Norah Brown MBE, Suzie Lee Arbuthnot, winner of the BBC Best Home Cooks and as seen on BBC, RTE, This Morning and Ireland AM, and Chef Lauren Shimmon, Tailors House, Ballygawley.
There will also be lots to keep children entertained with activities such as facepainting and balloon modelling as well as a variety of walkabout characters to meet and greet.

The Market takes place at Pomeroy Forest on Saturday 29 June form 11am - 6pm and will include exclusive foodie experiences, chef demonstrations, with a focus on our delicious local produce, and a range of crafts sure to cater for every taste.
Norah Brown MBE; Chef Lauren Shimmon, The Tailor's House, Ballygawley and Suzie Lee Arbuthnot, winner of the BBC Best Home Cooks and as seen on BBC, RTE, This Morning and Ireland AM, will deliver the cookery demonstrations throughout the day.
The market will feature over 25 stalls of local food, produce and crafts including Betty's Ice Cream, Ballyriff Buffalo Farm, The Fluffy Meringue, Lough Neagh's Stories and Woodlab Distillery, to name only a few.
Accompanying the market will also be lots of musical entertainment including Andrea Begley Music as well as kids entertainment and guided walks in the forest.

PHG will be planting up in the polytunnel this evening Wednesday 29th May from 7pm if anyone would like to come along.
Thanks to everyone who helped with the litter pick and can we ask if anyone has any picks can they be dropped off at Begley's Mace shop in pomeroy before Friday as they have to be returned to the council if we don't return all equipment PHG will have to pay for replacements.

Folks just a little reminder that Pomeroy Horticultural Group are holding a litter Pick on Saturday 13th April from 9am to 1pm. Come to the Rowantree Centre and collect a litter picker and bin bags. Filled bags can be left at road side and PHG will arrange collection. Litter pickers should be returned to Rowantree Centre for return to Mid Ulster District Council. Please come out and support the litter Pick along the road where you live.
