Congratulations to everyone who competed in the first tournament of this season today, The Peacock Cup.

Runners Up were Sheila Thompson and Ian Phillipson.

Winners were Jenni Potts and Alan Hopper.

Congratulations to Michael Eggleston, Alison Gilby and Christine Heppell who received recognition at last night's 12th Durham and Cleveland LTA Tennis Awards.
Mike - Highly Commended trophy for Volunteering, and County Colours.
Alison - Special Recognition Award for volunteering 2022.
Christine - Services to Tennis.

Lucas Barton also won the 11U doubles in the Durham and Cleveland County Closed tournament. Very well done.

Congratulations to our junior players who competed in this year's Durham and Cleveland County Closed tournament. Excellent results from everyone.
Sarah Keithley won 8U Girls singles.
Lottie Gregory won the 11U girls doubles and was runner up in the 11U girls singles.
Tom Richardson came runner up in the 12U doubles and reached the semi finals of the 12U boys singles.

We are delighted to welcome Anthony Reynolds to Durham Archery LTC. He is an LTA Level 4 Senior Club Coach, previously working at Sunderland Tennis Centre, and will be joining us on a Wednesday and Friday evening, and a Saturday. He will be in charge of the Adult coaching programme, and also helping out with our junior players.

Very Well Done to Durham and Cleveland County Men's Team, (including our own John Heppell), who have gained promotion after a great week's tennis on the grass courts of Southsea near Portsmouth, against World ranked players.

Congratulations to Lottie and Tom, who competed in an LTA sanctioned U12 tournament at Sunderland Tennis Centre today. Both played very well, with Tom winning his first 'full ball' competition.

Congratulations to our junior Club members, Lottie Gregory and Lucas Barton for being selected to play for the Durham & Cleveland 11U County girls and boys team respectively.

This is the 10.30am Tuesday morning coaching group where we have an hour of coaching with Head Coach Christine.

There is much laughter, we all share a love of the game of tennis 🎾 and we all agree it’s a fantastic way to spend a Tuesday morning.

This coaching group is how I discovered Durham Archery Tennis Club when my youngest started school - now the whole family are members and this is often where at least one of us can be found !

DALTC Junior coaching resumes this morning and we are very excited to welcome everyone back.
All members will have received an email regarding court availability but as a reminder; from 9am - 12.45pm on Saturday morning all courts are reserved for coaching. Any overspill courts are reserved during these times for junior or family members’ use.

Durham Archery Lawn Tennis Club is open for membership, and we always welcome new members of all ages and all abilities.

🚨 4 courts are open tomorrow for club members only, to play singles (or doubles if a family). Please follow the LTA guidelines and information sent out in the email from our Chairman and Membership Secretary, which you will have received today.
