STA Level 2 Certificate in Pool Water Testing

Course 1 - Saturday 30th November 2024 - 10am to 1.30pm

All courses delivered using Zoom are are tutor led throughout.
Course fee £95 inc. VAT and places are strictly limited.

Are you or one of your employees responsible for pool water testing? How do you ensure competency around this? With our Level 2 Award in Pool Water testing that's how...!

This 4 hour course is designed to give staff the skills and knowledge to test water safely and effectively and know what issues should be reported to who if readings are outside of ranges.

As this course is FULLY online candidates must have access to a pool water testing kit and pool with which they can test. Candidates will then submit this to complete the assessment.

9.00am to 5.00pm
Energise Leisure Centre, York (day 1 is taught fully online so no need to attend the venue)

£145 per candidate - this course is suitable for both new candidates and renewals.

An early start yesterday to support Durham City Aquatics at the South Tyneside Swimming Club autumn meet, at Haven Point Leisure Centre in South Shields.

Some great swims by Durham yesterday, and we are back again today to do itnall again!

A very intense week of skills consolidation, study of learning styles, training practice and assessing practice.

Well done - and the best of luck with your onward training and assessing journey!

This week, Myles is in Burnley, delivering an NPLQ Trainer/Assessor Course. The core parts of the course have been delivered online, with the group coming together in person for the remainder.

Well done to all participants for taking the next step to deliver lifesaving skills to others - and good luck with the course!

Today, Graeme has been up at Blyth Sports Centre in Northumberland having been invited to be the referee for the North East Regional Lifesaving Championships.

This is an important event in the competition calendar as the winners represent the North East against the rest of the UK and Ireland in the nation finals in November.

This is just another aspect to aquatics that is not as well known as the more straightforward swimming events, but the competitors here have to master 4 events in the competition from technical rescue skills to speed swim and tow rescues.

Well done to everyone who participated... and a lovely warm welcome for the ref too 👍

This week we visited Teesside University for a Swimming Pool Emergency Response Award (SPERA). The team there is really into their training and the renewal was a great recap! Well done team!! And we hope everyone starting at Teesside University in the next few weeks has a fantastic time!!
