Can you help us?
From 18th- 24th June we will be closed to carry out some maintenance work on our beloved observatory. After nearly 20 years of use, it needs a bit of TLC and we're looking to give it a bit of a glow up ✨
We have a long list of tasks which we think you might be able to help us complete!
Are you an electrician? A carpenter? A carpet fitter? Could you donate some paint? Have a floor sander we could borrow? Any leftover paintbrushes, tools are gardening equipment from your last DIY project?
Any support from our guests would be hugely appreciated! We have the whole team plus plenty of volunteers helping us throughout the week, but any resources anyone may be able to help us with would be amazing! As a registered charity, we can only do what we do with the support of the likes of you!
And if you can't, maybe you know someone who could? So please share! Thank you 🌟😀
Looks to be another large active region coming around the limb of the sun.
Hopefully lots more colourful displays overhead in the coming days and weeks.
Exciting times! I love a solar Maximum 😂♥️
