It’s been a long busy summer, we’ve had lots of lovely customers from near and far and it’s been lovely to meet you all and have a chat 😊.
It’s time for us to have a little break so next week we will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and will re-open Thursday 12th of September.

Walker's Fabrics in the Market Hall is full of fabric, ribbons, haberdashery, the list goes on. What's more, all the staff love creating too so are happy to give you advice, and discuss ideas with you.
As well as a fabulous range of beautiful fabrics, they've got Halloween themed stock in at the moment ... and (dare we say) even Christmas themed stock.
But why not get a head start on your Christmas creations, don't leave it to the last minute, pop into Walkers, get inspired and start creating.

All types of different cars ... in the heart of Durham! A stunning setting for some beautiful vehicles!
That is Durham Classic Car Show - and it's back on Bank Holiday Monday, 26 August, with cars Palace Green, the Market Place, Millennium Place, Framwellgate Bridge and Elvet Bridge all home to displays of classic vehicles for one day! Come along and enjoy from 11am to 4pm - and we're open in the Market Hall for the same hours.
