⚽️Reminder to our students for Monday 15 July⚽️

In celebration of England reaching the Euros Final, all students should be ready to learn for Lesson 1 at 9.10am (line up 9.05am). The cafe will be open between 8am - 9am for those wishing breakfast. You may wear something England (or from another country) related with the rest of your normal uniform should you wish. Please see the letter sent on Friday for further details.

REMINDER: Eastbourne Event is TODAY

Year 10 has been experiencing mock interviews from local employers in the library today. Huge thanks to our local partners for providing such excellent support to our students.

🇫🇷French trip Day 4. An early(ish) start to get to Bagatelle theme park before the rides opened. The students enjoyed the rides, a meal in the Aerogare café and the souvenir/sweet shops before our return to Calais. Safely back at school by 9pm.🇫🇷

French trip Day 3. Today started with Drama and Logic puzzle activities (all in French, bien sûr), picnic lunch at the Château then shopping and funicular ride in Le Tréport. We then went to St. Valery sur Somme, visited an art gallery, walked part of the Olympic flame trail, spotted seals in the Baie and ate ice creams in the rain! Evening activities were Cache-Cache (hide and seek) and of course football!

🇫🇷 French trip Day 2. Dieppe market, lunch on the beach, La Vache de Louvicamp dairy farm making butter, tasting cheese, milking the cows and meeting 8 day old calves. Evening activities included watching penalties/a music quiz and a game of football! 🇫🇷

French trip Day 1. Eurotunnel, La Coupole museum and planetarium, dinner at the Château followed by snail tasting, then scavenger hunt and football before bed.

⭐️Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award Expedition⭐️
Last weekend our Bronze award participants completed their expedition. They were absolutely fantastic! They showed resilience, determination and gave lots of team support and encouragement. We are incredibly proud of them on their achievement. Well done 🎉

It is General Election day in the UK; at SCC Year 10 senior student applicants have been pitching to the school. Every student has a vote for who will be Head Boy / Girl. Announcements will follow 📣
