Congratulations to our local heroes Bennets Bar on a superb chilli and win in this years TCCC.

I think it’s safe to say that Chilli was the winner!

And yes the tequila is still in full flow as ever on this momentous day!

This week is all go. Saturday is all go. Who’s coming joining us for a lovely afternoon tequila session? Friends of old, new student regulars, local legends, visiting tourists - come on by. The Lupe Pintos Ednburgh Chili Cook Off is on this Saturday hope all you lucky ticket holders are ready to judge and have a fun day and I hope all the Venues are ready to knock it out the park. Some route planning advice- Lots of folk think the same start at the furthest away Venue and finish at Lupe Pintos this tends to crowd up the Venues, try starting in the middle or pick a random Venue zig zag no Venue is that far away.
Remember write the winner on the back of the ticket, bring a pen and please dont deliberate at the ballet box we have a limited time to count votes thankyou . Above all have an Amazing day.

Tom Wainwright was one of the Hacienda's best-loved residents, playing the Saturday night slot alongside Graeme Park throughout the 90s.

A legend of the house music scene, Tom Wainwright has held residencies at Gatecrasher, Hard Times, Renaissance, Miss Moneypenny's, and the Southport Weekender.

Tom will play an exclusive set as Spectrum takes over both floors of the Home Bar. Expect a night of proper old school house from a Manchester icon. We go from 9pm to 1am.
