To all of those who attended Write Shoot Cut on Friday night: thank you!
As our first event back, after a hiatus that almost lasted a full year, it was incredible to see so many people in the audience; some of whom were first timers and some who had returned to another one of our events. Your support for the films, the filmmakers, and us is extremely appreciated and we will continue to try and make each event better than the last.
We hope that you all had a great night and that we see you this coming June for our next event!

Only one sleep until the big night! Our final film to be announced is ‘Hindsight’! This film is a drama from Dylan-Starr Adams with a synopsis that reads: “Tony, an ex-convict and addict, desperate for a new relationship with his daughter and former partner, must overcome his past temptations and prove that he's finally changed his ways.”
We really cannot wait to share this wonderful film with you all, see you tomorrow!
The big day approaches! Our next film up is ‘Somewhere Scary, 1997’! A fantastic comedy horror by Ruidi Collins, the synopsis reads; “A group of teenager friends find themselves confronting a bloodthirsty intruder, who seems to be connected to their past.” We’re all excited to see it!
Next up in our lineup of great films: Avoiding the Unexpected!
‘A young woman is caught by surprise when she sees her ex-boyfriend crossing the street. She escapes this awkward interaction in the local shop, but is haunted by the face of her ex.’ This short comedy comes from Olivia Middleton.
We can’t believe Write Shoot Cut is this week! Here’s the next film that we’ll be screening: Life of a Ten Pound Note!
A drama from Charlie Parker, the synopsis reads: “Imagine your money had a memory and we could see the world through its eyes. ‘Life of a Ten Pound Note’ is exactly that. We follow the various stories witnessed by a single ten pound note making it's way from pocket to pocket, to purse, to poker table, around it's various owners.” We hope you’re as excited to see it as we are to screen it!
There’s less than a week to go until Write Shoot Cut so we thought we’d give you guys previews on the films that we’ll be showing! First up: Kale Tale!
In an animated film by Joe Rayner, Beki Mikova, and Kiran Basra, Kale comes to life as a young girl's appetite for adventure feeds her imagination.
