Completion of our Turner avenue project in balerno, Another great install from our team ๐ฅ๐๐ป
This flat roof was re-constructed with new timber firrings and a new box gutter detail to prevent standing water, Re-covered with a new built up felting sheen using POLYGLASS - POLYSHIELD, New lead cover flashings, New UPVC fascias and gutters and finished with a traditional mortar haunch ready for the painting contractor ๐๐ป

Completion of our Easter road project in Edinburgh
We attended this tenement after the recent storms as the flat roof had blown of with high winds ๐จ ๐จ
Our team stripped back the damaged roof and installed a new build up feting system using POLYGLASS - POLYSHIELD ๐ฅ
We also installed a new traditional cast iron guttering system along with new lead cover flashings.

First maintenance job of 2024 carried our today for a returning client at Spylaw in ediburgh ๐
The previous lead cope detail did not have enough cover which caused water to gain access under the lead into the property.
Our team primed the lead and installed new mineral flashings as a temporary measure until renewal works take place later this year ๐ฅ

A small extension to rear of a property at Medowbank in Edinburgh.
The existing membrane was over 25 years old and in need of replacement, The roof structure was a concrete deck which was cladded with 18mm OSB and built up with a new insulated flat roof system.
We installed a new single-ply system and installed standing seam details to give this part of the building a more modern look.
A new UPVC guttering system was installed to match the colour of the new single-ply.

Works complete at our Claremont Rd project in Edinburgh.
Allot of prep went into this project a classic example of a builder attempting to be a flat roofer. Previous box gutter detail ran away from the outlet and sat with around 100mm of surface water, The previous EPDM membrane was not installed correctly with no cover tape on exposed joints allowing water to gain access into the property.
Our team stripped the EPDM back, increased the width of the box gutter and installed timber firrings with a fall of 100mm we then installed sections of 18mm OSB into the newly formed gutter. The new area was insulated with a new VCL and bitumen faced insulation board which was fixed into place using galvanised insulation washers and fixings, A traditional built up felting system was then installed using POLYGLASS - MODIBOND ๐ฅ

Balcony replacement complete in Eilie and Earlsferry using IKO-Pro torch.
This project took allot of elbow grease to get it up to standard :

๐Previous single-ply membrane removed and disposed
๐ Previous saturated insulation boards removed and disposed
๐Rotten timber deck removed and disposed
๐New tapered timber firrings cut to size and installed
๐New 18mm timber deck installed
๐New 100mm insulation installed
๐New 11mm timber crash deck installed
๐New code 5 lead parapet wall outlets made on-site and installed
๐New IKO-Pro torch felting system installed as per manufactures requirements

There was a great feel good factor on our recent project in Kingksnowe Edinburgh, Our client had been ripped off by a builder attempting to be a flat roofer installing a EPDM system. 3 years later the roof was completely rotten our team stripped back the EPDM and rotten timber, Re-installed new timbers and installed a new 3 layer felting system ๐๐ป๐ โฆ.. Glazers got that excited they used the flat roof as a dance floor leaving scuffs everywhere ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ป
