It’s the season to be jolly, but it’s also a season of hyper commercialisation and loneliness for some people.

If you’re being spammed with marketing emails just remember that you don’t need to buy things you don’t need. All you need is , and .

If you’re feeling down or alone while the world is screaming at you to be cheery, you’re feelings are totally valid.

But I do hope you have a wonderful holiday whatever you’re celebrating this winter: Christmas, Yalda, Hanukkah.

Things have been a bit quiet on the Nail Paint project but as soon as I recover properly I’ll be right back on track!

I know we’ve been MIA on social media for a hot minute. But I promise there’s been a lot of work going on behind the scenes.

You see, usually when celebrities and influencers launch their own makeup lines, they will buy ready made formulas from big cosmetic companies and customise the details.

At we’ve started from SCRATCH. That means the formulation technology is unique.

And we’ve tested so many formulas to bring you the perfect Nail Paint with our #201 mix!

As you know, our Nail Paint is non-toxic. That means no acetones or acetates, no formaldehyde, no parabens, the list goes on!

Basically we only put essential and safe ingredients in.

And we don’t test on animals…we’re testing on me (Kiana) .

I’m so excited to be on this journey of creating a non-toxic, eco-conscious and accessible nail varnish to revolutionise the industry!

As some of you know, I’m Kiana. Your friendly neighbourhood filmmaker artist and activist (think super hero cape, fighting systematic injustice). Kiana

I also love self-care, cosmetics and playing with colour.

I don’t wear makeup everyday nor do I need it to be beautiful. There’s no body shaming or negative advertising here folks.

I want people to feel empowered and to have fun using healthy cosmetics as and when they choose.

I haven’t been able to wear nail varnish for years as the acetone attacks my breathing and causes me to feel short of breath.

So like most things in life, if I want better options I need to roll up my sleeves and come up with a solution.

And that’s exactly what I’m going to do with my first product, Kal Nail Paint 🎨.
