A huge congratulations to our company Director Mark Macrae, who last week passed his Irata Level 3.

That makes 3 of our employees in just 2 weeks have successfully passed their Irata training courses all of which have been carried out by Haki Access Solutions in Kinross.

Found ourselves a new Paint suppler The Paint Shed and seen some amazing work from Nevin of Edinburgh.

All in all a productive Friday afternoon.

Apprenticeship opportunity ✅

Our company has went from strength to strength since opening and due to the vast amount of work and new clients, we will be looking to recruit new members to our team.

Apprentice applicant requirements-

1. Must be aged between 16-24 years old;
2. Must have a head for heights;
3. Willing to work hard as a team.
4. Friendly and well mannered
5. Able to pass a drug test.
5. Willing to attend the Steeplejack College in Kings Lynn for 6 weeks of the year (costs for which will be met by the company ).

There are no further requirements or experience necessary - we will give our Modern Apprentice all they need to develop their career.

As our business is base in Midlothian, it would be desirable to recruit in that area, for transportation purposes.
Successful applicants will be subject to a 6 months probationary period, fully paid in compliance with legal standards.

From design to fitting everything was top class, great job 👏🏻

Today we were working on a church in Fife (picture on the left), and a local popped down to show us some old pictures of Steeplejacks working on the same church over 100 years ago (picture on the right).

Some things never change but health and safety certainly does. It’s great to see, with investment in preservation, these beautiful buildings continuing to survive.

What a fantastic few weeks we are having here at Igoe Up Ltd; so many returning clients and new clients alike that have benefited from our quality workmanship. Our hard work is really paying off.

As an ethical employer we have provided a further wage rise to our employees - this ensures that our workforce feel valued for the work they do and the success they are integral to creating.

Congratulations to our apprentice kenzie who has now passed his specialist working at height cscs test 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

All our employees have now passed this test which really shows our commitment to the learning and improvement of our employees knowledge of health & safety.

Our wee company is continuing to expand & thrive, this is all down to the hard work and commitment of our employees.

When I started this company I knew that making sure everyone is happy in there working life’s was key in making this a success.

Today I am delighted to say that Mark Macrae has now been promoted to General Forman.
A promotion that is very well deserved🤝.
