👃🏼 Nose: Delicately light honey & Butterscotch aroma complimented by a soft floral citrus.

👅 Palate: Burst of delectable caramel, vanilla & Manuka honey.

👌🏼 Finish: A kick of spice like french toast with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Outside our distillery you can find a recreation of the five stacked casks that once resembled a hen coop which was what started the journey and birth of The Broody Hen Whisky all those years ago.

This week our distillery team have been bottling and labelling our second batch of The Broody Hen Blended Scotch Whisky 🥃

We are deeply sadden to hear the passing of Her Majesty The Queen. We would like to take this time to thank her for a remarkable 70 years of devoted service to our country and Commonwealth.

Our thoughts and condolences are with The Queen’s family, loved ones and all who are affected by this sad news.

The Broody Hen Blended Sctoch Whisky punches well above its age, with the beautiful caramel, vanilla and manuka honey palate.

We have an update from Singapore, where one of our Co-founders, Marcus Pickering and Commercial Director, Dave, have been representing Summerhall Distillery at the Prowine event with The Broody Hen and Pickering's Gin.

If you are looking for a snug where you can enjoy a dram or two this weekend, you know where we are!

Back at the beginning of our journey we were on the hunt for casks up in the Scottish Highlands, where amongst rows and rows of casks, one particular lot spoke to us: five, stacked casks, resembling a hen coop.

We now have a selection of similar casks proudly stacked outside our distillery which takes us back to that moment many years ago now 🐓
